It’s more than a motto at HCA Healthcare, it’s a promise colleagues embody every day. Whether it’s taking a few extra moments to walk a family member to the right room, explaining a complex procedure, or hugging the mom whose child has just been taken back for surgery. 

For Rollie Zackery, the way TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital colleagues have shown up for him has changed his entire outlook on life. 

“I have been down and had a lot of hardships, but these people have treated me like I’m their family, and I know they care,” he said with a smile. 

Rollie has been a patient at TriStar Greenview for more than two weeks. He arrived at the emergency room with severe back pain and soon underwent surgery to remove a cyst on his spine. While he has been battling other conditions during his stay, he credits the amazing colleagues at TriStar Greenview for putting a smile back on his face. 

“As soon as I got out of surgery, I told them to take me back to the fifth floor,” Rollie said with a laugh. He highlighted numerous people from his care team, including his nurse Tierra and patient care technician Ashley, for their extraordinary bedside manner, treating him like family and showing up for him when he needed someone the most. 

“Everyone is so family oriented. I won’t go to any other hospital except TriStar Greenview,” he said. 

Rollie’s healing journey on the fifth floor is a testament to the kind of patient-centered care that defines TriStar Greenview, care delivered by exceptional people who put heart into every moment.
