Our outpatient behavioral health services are here for you when you need consistent support and care.
Our outpatient services include an adult partial hospitalization and an adult intensive outpatient program with morning, afternoon, and evening time offerings. Our program offers variable levels of support depending on your specific needs. Our two care programs give structure to your treatment and provide ongoing care. They also allow you to return home each day, so you have additional support from your friends and family.

Outpatient services in Nashville, Tennessee
Using group therapy sessions, TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion outpatient services work to equip adults with the knowledge, tools and self-awareness to effectively cope with difficult life experiences.
With an expert team of clinicians trained in psychiatry, social work, clinical counseling, art therapy, and music therapy, the outpatient services are designed to offer a higher level of care to individuals 18 years old and older who need more support than the occasional outpatient therapy appointment.
Services we provide
The outpatient services of Parthenon Pavilion include an adult partial hospitalization and adult intensive outpatient program with multiple time offerings.
Outpatient services use a curriculum grounded in researched theories and evidence-based techniques. While the program is founded in cognitive behavioral theory and dialectical behavioral theory, these services apply additional philosophies of care to best meet the individual needs of the client.
Other theoretical frameworks include:
- Acceptance and commitment therapy
- Behavioral activism
- Cognitive-based mindfulness therapy
- Internal family systems
- Motivational interviewing
- Trans-theoretical model of change
- Trauma-informed, person-centered care
Adult partial hospitalization program (PHP)
The PHP is a three- or four-week, fifteen- or twenty-session program, including group therapy sessions four and a half hours per day, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:30pm.
Group therapy offered in the program focuses on stabilization and learning coping skills for managing chronic and persistent mental illness. A nurse practitioner and attending physician provide medication management.
Adult intensive outpatient program (IOP)
The IOP is a six- or eight-week, twenty four-session program that includes group therapy sessions three hours per day. IOP has multiple time offerings, including:
Morning IOP Program (8 week): Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00am – 12:00pm
Afternoon IOP Program (6 week): Monday through Thursday from 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Evening IOP Program (6 week): Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm – 7:30pm
The IOP assists clients in learning effective ways to manage and treat symptoms through compassionate self-talk, self-advocacy, journaling, and mindfulness as well as expressive therapies which include music therapy and art therapy.

Parthenon’s Outpatient services is conveniently separated from Parthenon inpatient services on Centennial’s campus to delineate our different levels of care. Our outpatient services are located at the Medical Park building on Centennial’s campus at the below address:
