TriStar Summit Medical Center appoints Lauren Sligh as chief financial officer

TriStar Summit Medical Center has named Lauren Sligh as chief financial officer, overseeing financial operations for the hospital and TriStar Mt. Juliet ER. Sligh brings over a decade of healthcare finance experience, most recently serving as CFO at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.

TriStar Summit Medical Center, part HCA Healthcare, is pleased to announce that Lauren Sligh has assumed the role of chief financial officer. In this role, Sligh will oversee financial operations for the 234-bed hospital and TriStar Mt. Juliet ER.

Sligh brings more than a decade of experience in financial and performance improvement. She most recently served as chief financial officer at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.

Before that, Sligh served as division controller for HCA Healthcare’s Far West Division, a network of 8 hospitals, 11 ambulatory surgery centers, 19 urgent care centers and multiple outpatient and physician practice locations across California and Nevada. Sligh also held roles in labor management, emergency services and bed management performance improvement roles in both the Far West and South Atlantic divisions.

Sligh received her Master of Accountancy from Auburn University, a Master of Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Clemson University.
