TriStar Skyline Medical Center recognized among nation's top performers for patient safety

TriStar Skyline ranks among the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for patient safety, according to Healthgrades.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is proud to announce it has received the 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades. This national recognition reflects TriStar Skyline’s commitment to safe, patient-centered care and reinforces its role as a leader in patient safety for Middle Tennessee.

TriStar Skyline ranks among the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for patient safety, according to Healthgrades.

“Patient safety is foundational to how we care for our community,” said Lauren Dudley, chief executive officer of TriStar Skyline Medical Center. “Our teams work every day to create a culture where patient safety comes first. We will continue focusing on the practices, training and teamwork that help support safe care and strong outcomes.”

Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance using objective measures focused on patient outcomes and clinical results.

In addition to the 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Award, TriStar Skyline was named among Healthgrades’ 2026 America’s 250 Best Hospitals for the fourth consecutive year, placing it in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance.

TriStar Skyline has also been recognized by Healthgrades for specialty care performance, including:

  • America’s 50 Best Hospitals for vascular surgery and surgical care
  • America’s 100 Best Hospitals for orthopedic surgery, stroke care and critical care
  • Ranked among the top 5% in the nation for areas such as cardiac care, neurosciences, stroke care and surgical care
