TriStar StoneCrest announces Cody Adams as chief operating officer

Adams was previously the vice president of operations for TriStar Horizon. He will oversee planning, operations and growth initiatives.

Smyrna, Tenn. – TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is pleased to announce Cody Adams as the new chief operating officer. Adams will oversee operations at the 119-bed hospital, focusing on enhancing surgical, cardiac, imaging, and other services.

Adams brings diverse healthcare leadership experience to the role, including strategic planning, operational excellence, oversight of growth initiatives, and quality improvement.

Adams joined TriStar StoneCrest from TriStar Horizon, where he served as the vice president of operations. In this role, he successfully guided over $35 million in transformative projects, including a 14-bed intensive care unit, the addition of a hyperbaric chamber at TriStar Horizon’s Advanced Wound Care Center, and the expansion of inpatient rehab facilities. Adams previously served as an associate administrator at TriStar Skyline.

Adams holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. He and his wife, Pressley, have two beautiful daughters, Alivia and Madison.
