3D mammography

We are dedicated to finding breast cancer at its earliest stage. 3D mammography is a proven screening exam that results in cancer detection improvement while decreasing patient call backs.

We can provide more detailed, accurate results with this advanced technology. Our tools enable radiologists to view the breast layer by layer, allowing earlier detection of small cancers that may be hidden in the surrounding tissue.

3D mammography is approved for all women who would otherwise be undergoing a standard mammogram. Multiple clinical studies show that it is valuable for all women, regardless of breast type or density.

As part of routine women's care, it is recommended that women receive annual mammograms beginning at 40 years old. Women at high risk for breast cancer should begin screening mammograms at 30 years old or in accordance with their doctor's recommendation.
