Home care services for TennCare patients. Offers services to help those age 65 and those 21 and over with a disability the services they need to stay in their homes. Patients need to contact the number on TennCare card to start an application. A representative will call them for a phone interview and then an in-home assessment before they are approved.

Dispensary of Hope collects and distributes millions of dollars of pharmaceuticals annually to pharmacies and safety-net clinics to dispense to low-income, chronically ill patients.

Road to Recovery with American Cancer Society
Offers free transportation for patients with one week’s notice. Because this service is run by volunteers who donate their time and use their own cars, drivers cannot usually provide long-distance travel.

Support groups
Navigating any illness or condition can be difficult, especially if you have to do it alone. There are many different types of support groups with professionals committed to your healing and a network of individuals with similar experiences to lean on. Whether you have cancer or a specific type of chronic condition, these support groups can help:
Cancer Hope Network matches someone going through a diagnosis and/or their caregivers with a trained volunteer cancer survivor who had a similar cancer experience.
