TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital unveils newly renovated operating rooms
Bowling Green, Ky. — TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, has completed a seven-month renovation of its surgical department, upgrading all 10 operating rooms with advanced technology and equipment designed to support safe, efficient and high-quality surgical care.
“Every decision we made during this renovation was guided by one question: How will this help us provide better care for our patients?” said Mike Sherrod, chief executive officer of TriStar Greenview. “These upgrades give physicians and surgical teams advanced tools to support safe, precise care while creating an environment where they can continue delivering excellent care every day.”
Upgrades include advanced surgical imaging technology that provides detailed, three-dimensional images during surgery, allowing surgeons to view a patient’s anatomy in real time and verify implant placement. The technology supports greater precision during spine, neurosurgical and complex orthopedic procedures. The renovation also added new LED surgical lighting, flooring and equipment, height-adjustable nursing workstation and automatic operating room doors designed to improve patient transport and workflow.
TriStar Greenview also expanded access to diagnostic imaging within the operating rooms, allowing surgical teams to immediately review CT scans, MRI studies, X-rays and other images during procedures. The renovated suites also support TriStar Greenview’s growing robotic surgery program and provide physicians with advanced technology for a range of minimally invasive and orthopedic procedures.
