Skyline Medical Center announces Kevin Sommers as assistant chief financial officer

Sommers has previously worked at SCA Health.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is pleased to announce Kevin Sommers as the assistant chief financial officer.

“Kevin brings a wealth of financial and operational experience to this new role,” said Sam Williamson, chief financial officer. “We are thrilled to have Kevin on our team to strengthen the support given to our leaders and caregivers in delivering high quality care at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.”

Previously, Sommers worked at SCA Health, part of Optum and United Health, in their financial operations group supporting surgery centers and surgical hospitals across the U.S.

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Sommers earned a Master of Science in Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also completed his accounting degree at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He currently serves on the Young Alumni Council for the Auburn University College of Business and is an avid supporter of Auburn athletics.
