TriStar Summit Medical Center expands specialty care with opening of The Frist Clinic at TriStar Summit
Hermitage, Tenn. — TriStar Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, has expanded access to gastroenterology care with the opening of The Frist Clinic at TriStar Summit. The new clinic provides patients in Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties with convenient access to preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic digestive healthcare close to home.
"The opening of The Frist Clinic represents another important step in our commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of our community,” said Cindy Bergmeier, chief executive officer at TriStar Summit Medical Center. “Welcoming Dr. Yazdian gives patients greater access to expert care. Dr. Yazdian, a fellow-trained gastroenterologist, is accepting new patients. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, before completing an internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital and a gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Yazdian treats a wide variety of gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions and offers both diagnostic upper endoscopy, also known as EGD, and colonoscopy screenings.
