Taylor Sawyer named as chief operating officer at TriStar Skyline Medical Center

In her role, Sawyer will focus on expanding access to the hospital's Level 1 Trauma Center.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, has named Taylor Sawyer as chief operating officer, strengthening the hospital’s leadership team as it continues to expand access to high-quality care in Middle Tennessee. In this role, Taylor will lead growth initiatives with a focus on expanding access to the hospital’s Level I Trauma Center and burn care, along with advanced neurology and cardiology capabilities. 

Sawyer brings nearly seven years of experience with HCA Healthcare. She most recently served as chief operating officer at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center and previously served as vice president of operations at TriStar Summit Medical Center, where she helped drive operational excellence and expand access to care.

“Taylor is a strong leader who is deeply committed to positive patient outcomes,” said Lauren Dudley, chief executive officer at TriStar Skyline. “Her experience across our TriStar Health hospitals and her focus on collaboration and growth will help us continue to meet the needs of our community.”

Sawyer earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado Boulder. She holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
