TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center welcomes Steve Gray as chief financial officer
Steve Gray recently joined TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center from Methodist Hospital Northeast, where Gray served as the CFO for ten years.
Smyrna, TN — TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is pleased to announce Steve Gray as the new chief financial officer.
As the CFO for TriStar StoneCrest, Gray will oversee all financial departments, including finance, patient access, health information management, case management, revenue integrity, information technology, and supply chain.
“We are proud to have Steve join our hospital’s administrative team,” said Louis Caputo, chief executive officer at TriStar StoneCrest. “His prior experience within HCA Healthcare, as well as his commitment to our mission, will help to further enhance the care and services TriStar StoneCrest provides our patients and community.”
Gray brings a deep knowledge of HCA Healthcare and extensive financial leadership gained from over 27 years in healthcare finance. He joins TriStar StoneCrest from Texas, where he has served as CFO for 10 years at Methodist Hospital Northeast. Prior to joining Methodist Hospital Northeast, Steve was the vice president of finance for Methodist Hospital, Methodist Children’s Hospital and Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant. Steve began his career with HCA Healthcare in 1996 with the corporate reimbursement department.
Gray is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and received his CPA license in 1993 in Colorado.
In his spare time, Gray enjoys running, traveling and playing golf. He and his wife, Barb, have two grown children and are looking forward to becoming involved in the Rutherford County community.
