TriStar Summit Medical Center names Jordan Huffman to board of trustees

Hermitage, Tenn. — TriStar Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, today announced the appointment of Metro Nashville Council Member Jordan Huffman to its board of trustees, reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to community-focused, high-quality care in Donelson, Hermitage and surrounding areas.

Huffman represents District 14 on the Metro Nashville Council, serving Donelson and Hermitage. He chairs the Public Health and Safety Committee and serves on the Budget and Finance Committee, focusing on issues that directly impact families and neighborhoods, including responsive city services, public safety and responsible fiscal management.

He brings healthcare industry experience to the board, having held leadership roles in healthcare technology and population health at i2i Population Health, Harris Healthcare and digiChart. Huffman currently serves as policy communications manager for the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, supporting statewide conservation and outdoor access initiatives through policy and communications efforts.

In addition to his public service, Huffman serves on the board of directors for the Donelson Gateway Project, the Two Rivers Mansion Historic Society and the Two Rivers Community Orchestra. He is also a member of the Donelson-Hermitage Exchange Club, Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce and the Donelson-Hermitage Neighborhood Alliance.
