Ashley joined TriStar Horizon Medical Center in 2018, serving as an EVS team member. She loved being part of a team dedicated to serving patients, colleagues, and the community.

Addiction forced her to leave a job she loved and focus on getting the treatment she needed. Circumstances led Ashley to Horizon's Emergency Department as a patient and that was a turning point for her. "I saw someone doing my old job and knew I needed to be part of that team. I became determined to overcome my addiction and come back to work."

And Ashley did just that. She rejoined our EVS team in 2021 and feels so fortunate to have a second chance to serve in a role she loves.

Surrounded by members of the TriStar Horizon family, Ashley celebrated 5 years of sobriety last week. To Ashley, Care Like Family means everything. She credits her TriStar Horizon colleagues for never giving up on her and giving her a second chance. "This is home...the people here are family."

Congratulations, Ashley. We believe in you, we are proud of you, and we are so honored to be part of your journey!
