TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center names Lauren Kane as new chief nursing officer

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is pleased to welcome Lauren Kane, MBA, BSN, RN, as chief nursing officer. Kane will oversee the professional practice of nursing and provide strategic nursing leadership at TriStar Hendersonville. She will also be a member of the executive leadership team. 

“Lauren is a relational leader, and it's clear that she will be a great addition to our team,” said Justin Coury, chief executive officer. “Her strong track record shows that she is devoted to supporting nurses and providing the highest quality care to patients. I am confident that she will continue to enhance TriStar Hendersonville’s robust, collaborative nursing culture.” 

With 14 years of nursing experience, Kane most recently served as associate chief nursing officer at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where she oversaw 700 caregivers across the hospital. Prior to that, she served in successive leadership roles at TriStar Centennial Medical Center team, including bedside nurse, manager and director of medical/surgical nursing. 

 Throughout her career, Kane has demonstrated an exceptional ability to strengthen and engage nursing teams, successfully retaining some of the most talented nurses within her hospitals. Her commitment to nursing excellence and her focus on delivering high-quality care align perfectly with TriStar Hendersonville’s values.  

Kane received her bachelor’s degree from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan. She also received a Master of Business Administration from Western Governor’s University.

TriStar Health will host "Crush the Crisis" prescription drug take back events across Middle Tennessee on October 25, offering a safe, anonymous way to dispose of unused medications in partnership with local law enforcement. This initiative aims to prevent misuse and raise awareness about the opioid epidemic, which remains the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 44.
