TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center has named a new chief operating officer.

Eight units, representing multiple specialties, received the annual awards.

The hospital was also named one of Healthgrades' America's 100 Best Hospitals for 2026.

Six TriStar Health hospitals earned the 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades, with two ranking in the top 5% nationwide and four ranking in the top 10% for patient safety. Additionally, four hospitals were named among America’s Top 250 Hospitals for overall clinical performance.

Funds are distributed through the United Way of Sumner County to support local families in need.

The hospital also earned multiple No. 1 rankings in Tennessee across critical care, GI care, GI surgery, pulmonary care and more, reflecting its continued commitment to high‑quality patient care.
