Tristar Health welcomes gastroenterologist Craig Ennis, MD, expanding access to GI care

Fellowship-trained gastroenterologist brings more than 30 years of experience to communities across northern Middle Tennessee.

Nashville, Tenn. — TriStar Health, part of HCA Healthcare, announced today that Craig Ennis, MD, a fellowship-trained and board-certified gastroenterologist, has joined The Frist Clinic – GI North. Dr. Ennis brings more than 30 years of experience, including many years caring for patients in the Clarksville area, to TriStar Health as the network expands access to specialized digestive healthcare in Pleasant View and communities across northern Middle Tennessee.

With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ennis provides care for a wide range of digestive health conditions and performs diagnostic and advanced gastroenterology procedures. The Frist Clinic – GI North will operate a full-time clinic in Pleasant View, and Dr. Ennis will also see patients and perform procedures at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center and TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center.

Dr. Ennis earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, where he also completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship. He is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
