TriStar Horizon had the privilege of celebrating Amber, one of our amazing Emergency Department nurses, as a DAISY Award Recipient.

Nominated by the mother of a patient, Amber was recognized for her compassion, empathy, and quiet strength during one of the most difficult moments a mother can face.

"Amber's compassion, her empathy, and her quite strength on the worst day of my life is why I believe she deserves the DAISY Award...she was the light who met me in the dark."

Amber embodies excellence every day and we are honored she is part of the Horizon family.

About the DAISY Award: The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care registered nurses provide every day.
