Visitor policy
To reduce the spread of respiratory illnesses, we are taking various precautions to protect our patients and you.
If you plan to visit us soon, please note that our masking policy has changed.
In an effort to provide the safest environment possible for our patients, visitors and colleagues during respiratory illness season, masks are now required in ALL patient rooms and other areas where patient care may be given, effective immediately.
Thank you for supporting this policy so we can continue to provide the highest level of care in the safest of environments.
No smoking policy
In the interest of good health for everyone and out of respect for our patients, we are a non-smoking facility. We appreciate your adherence to this policy and ask that you refrain from smoking while on the hospital campus.
Visiting guidelines
Visiting hours are from 9:00am to 9:00pm. We have visiting guidelines to protect our patients' privacy while allowing the comfort of friends and family visiting in a healing environment.
Children are welcome to visit family members. We ask that children under 12 years old be supervised and within the control of an adult at all times.
Each patient's nurse reserves the right to limit visitation based on the patient's needs and the needs of others in the unit. Visitors who do not follow the rules, are loud or disruptive or disturb other patients will be asked to leave.
Patients have the absolute right to limit or decline visitors.
Any individual, child or adult who has symptoms of or has been exposed to a contagious illness or infection should not visit hospital patients. Symptoms may include coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, rash, diarrhea or vomiting within the past 24 hours.
Visitors are asked to check with a nurse before bringing patients food, beverages, medications or electrical appliances.
